About the role

We are an established and renowned workplace health and safety team specialising in a wide range occupational hygiene services:

  • Airborne contaminants 
  • Mould assessments 
  • Indoor air quality 
  • Noise and vibration 
  • Thermal exposure 
  • Health risk assessment 
  • Statistically based exposure monitoring programs

 

In addition our wider business service offering includes asbestos/hazardous materials consulting and property risk assessment. The business is located in Chatswood, NSW with a highly experienced team, with major infrastructure and national portfolio clients. We are looking for consultants who are looking to broaden their skill base and experience in the industry.

Here’s what you’ll be focused on:

  • Developing and delivering long term statistically based exposure monitoring programs on major infrastructure projects. This includes exposure monitoring for a wide range of hazards including inhalable and respirable dusts, organic and inorganic compounds, noise, hand-arm and whole-body vibration and biological agents.
  • Evaluating the implementation and efficacy of exposure controls
  • Management of projects and client liaison
  • Production of quality reports based on your findings.

 

About you

To be successful in this role you'll need to:

  • Have at least 5 years of experience in a similar roles
  • Experience in core occupational hygiene skills
  • This role is 60-70% Sydney site-based role 
  • Hold a full Australian driver’s license 
  • Ideally hold a tertiary qualification in a related area and/or have completed the Basic Principles of Occupational Hygiene course (W201)
  • Ideally, you’ll have or be suitably skilled to obtain AIOH provisional or full membership.
